About the Speaker
Jack Beckett represents individuals, family businesses, institutional trustees, and nonprofit organizations in a wide range of estate planning, administration, and fiduciary litigation matters. His practice includes preparing trusts, wills, prenuptial agreements, and other planning documents for clients with estates ranging from modest to high net worth. Jack also advises on business succession planning and has experience drafting and implementing partnership, operating, and buy-sell agreements, as well as planning for individuals with special needs.
Jack maintains an active fiduciary litigation practice, representing clients in will contests, trust and equity actions, guardianships, fiduciary removal matters, and related proceedings. He has served as first-chair trial and appellate counsel and regularly presents on fiduciary litigation topics for professional organizations, including the Maryland State Bar Association.
