DESCRIPTION:\nBehavioral Finance\nTaking Action! Understanding the stages of change and how advisors can get in the way?\n \nOne of our primary jobs is to help clients make decisions and act on them but, as every advisor knows, that is easier said than done.  Amanda Harvey from the Institute of Family Success at PNC Private Bank will speak on Thursday, February 23, 2023 about how advisors need to understand the stages of change, so we can guide our clients who want to make decision (or maybe don’t!) to taking action.  Importantly, advisors aren’t always the positive influence that we strive to be.  Sometimes it’s our behavior that creates unintentional barriers to success.  Amanda will help us understand our actions and how they impact the ability of our clients to make decisions and achieve success.\n \nFebruary 23, 2023, 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.\nAnnapolis Waterfront Hotel\n 80 Compromise Street, Annapolis, MD 21401\nTicket includes an open bar and hors d'oeuvre. Free for AAEPC members.\n \n[Click Here to Register](http://cfaac.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/list/event?event_date_id=3748)\n \nSpeaker: Amanda Priebe Harvey, CFP®, MSCP, AEP®\n Vice President and Senior Resident Fellow at PNC Private Bank Hawthorn\n \nFor over 15 years Amanda used the financial planning process to collaborate with families and individuals as they worked to maximize their financial resources today and also secure a sound financial future for themselves throughout their lifetime. \n \nIn her current role as Senior Resident Fellow in PNC Hawthorn's Institute for Family Success, Amanda helps prepare family members to handle the benefits, responsibilities and challenges of significant assets which helps ensure that a family’s wealth remains a positive force for generations to come. \n \nAmanda and the team within the Institute, understand that some families seek guidance to achieve success beyond financial wealth and through the Institute offer additional resources and opportunities to help these families flourish personally, professionally and philanthropically.\n \nShe is also an active member of the Planning for the Modern Family National Practice Group at PNC Private Bank®.
